Bachelor in Interior Design

Bachelor in Interior Design Course is a Four Year course designed in accordance with NEP (New Education Policy) 2020 and offers Multiple Entry & Exit points.

INTERIOR DESIGN COURSES as per NEP (New Education Policy)
1 year: Undergraduate Certificate
2 year: Undergraduate Diploma
3 year: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
4 year :Bachelor’s Degree with Honours/Research

Eligibility Criteria:

Passed 10 + 2 in Arts / Commerce / Science stream with minimum 40% marks in aggregate from AHSEC/CBSE/ICSE Boards. Or Passed 10 + 3 Diploma in any stream recognized by State or Central govt. with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor of Architecture

GCAP offers a 5-year degree program of B.Arch, which is recognized by the Council of Architecture. The 5-year Bachelor’s Degree program in architecture has been divided into 10 terms or semesters. It incorporates Design and Planning, Arts and Humanities, Science and Technologies, Practice and Management components. This dynamic program ensures that while students’ progress from raw talent to refined skilled architects, they also acquire awareness and application based knowledge. Thus the course focuses on holistic development.

During the 10th semester, students undertake practical training, as a part of the curriculum, which is the norm for any of the Courses in Architecture across the country.

The ASTU conducts all semester exams and declares the results for the same.

The Bachelor of Architecture Degree course also includes the following computer courses in Architecture (included in the curriculum):

  • AUTOCAD
  • PHOTOSHOP
  • GOOGLE SKETCH UP
  • 3D MAX
  • REVIT
Eligibility for B. Arch:

Passed 10 + 2 in Science stream with minimum 50% marks in PCM as well as in aggregate from AHSEC/CBSE/ICSE Boards (45% for reservation category). Or Passed 10 + 3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as Compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate

Master of Planning (Urban & Regional)

Master of Planning (Urban & Regional Planning) is a course which will broadly focus on acquiring specialized knowledge in Urban and Regional Planning for the development of well structured cities/urban-regions, along with the sustainable management of towns and cities. This program focuses on fostering and understanding of the ways that cities and sites are constructed physically, socially and environmentally.

This is a 2 year (4 semester ) full time post graduation program in Urban and Regional Planning.

The scope for students studying Master of Planning (Urban & Regional Planning) has increased as per the survey done by UNESCO as India will need 3 lakh Town Planners by 2031.

Eligibility for M. Planning (Urban & Regional Planning):

Graduate in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Planning with minimum 55% marks or CGPI 6 out of 10 at graduation from recognized University Or Post graduate in Geography / Economics / Sociology with 55% marks or CGPI 6 out of 10 at Post Graduation from a recognized University.
